Band of Solos is a San Diego-based instrumental progressive rock trio focused on the exploration of unbounded guitar influenced galactic journeys. The band’s unique methodology makes use of refined jam band skills while blatantly disregarding established stereotypes and genres. A heavy, melodic, and unpredictable avalanche of unapologetic harmony
awaits the listener.

Guitarist Starr Moore is always experimenting with a wide range of expressive styles, including modulation of exotic scales and outside playing in off time signatures.

Bassist Shawn Sokol’s dominating Bass lines featuring alternate tunings and two-handed tapping techniques provide solid backing harmony and foundation.

Latin percussionist Jose Maldonado tries to keep up!
